Pseudoparonella (Oceaniella) tanimbarica Yoshii & Suhardjono, 1992

Type locality. Saumlaki, Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia.

Material examined. Two females on slides and many in alcohol, New Caledonia: Col d’Amieu, 165°46’E 21°34’S, alt. 412 m, Malaise trap, 19.xii.2007 ‒ 11.i.2008, Thomas Théry leg. (# NC08-Thery02). Two specimens on slides and 5 in alcohol in NJAU and others in MNHN.

Remarks. The specimens from New Caledonia coincide well with the original description. SEM photos were also taken to show the details of eyes ( Fig. 13 ), scales ( Figs 14‒19 ), trochanteral organ ( Fig. 20 ), claw ( Fig. 21 ) and mucro ( Fig. 22 ). As a member of “colour pattern species”, Ps. tanimbarica cannot be separated from other species except in having a constant colour pattern(a pair of patches on posterior Abd. IV, Fig. 11 ). According to Zhang et al. (2015), the tergal S-chaetotaxic pattern of Ps. tanimbarica (ordinary S-chaetae 2, 2|1, 2, 2,?, 3, S-microchaetae 1, 0|1, 0, 1, 0, 0) is identical with those in Entomobryinae sensu Zhang & Deharveng, 2015.
