Stenoloba lichenosella Kononenko & Ronkay, 2001 , Insecta Koreana View in CoL , 18(2): 100, fig. 6, 27. Type locality: North Vietnam, Tam Dao, 1200 m. Holotype: male, preserved in ZFMK, Bonn.

Material examined. 1 male, Prov. Jiangxi, Dayu , 18.vii.1975 (coll. B.L. Zhang) ; 1 male, Prov. Jiangxi, Dayu , 18.vi.1977 ; 2 female, Prov. Fujian, Taipingqiao , 21, 22.v. I 1989 (coll. S.C. Qi) ; 1 male, Aut. Reg. Guangxi, Longzhou, Nonggang , 13.vi.2000 (coll. W.Z. Li) ; 5 males, 1 female, Aut. Reg. Guangxi, Napo, Defu , 19.vi.2000 (coll. J. Yao & J. Chen) ; 3 males, Prov. Yunnan, Pur , 14.vi.2007 (coll. H.L. Han) .

Diagnosis. The species and its ally S. lichenosa , described from Taiwan, represent a pairs of siblings whose external features are rather remote from other species of the genus. They resemble most dark specimens of S. manley , but differ by prominent grass-green tint. S. lichenosella ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9–17 ) is externally close to S. lichenosa , but can be distinguished by the male genitalia. S. lichenosella ( Fig. 27 View FIGURES 24–29 ) has, compared with S. lichenosa , somewhat wider uncus, more robust valva with broader, but shorter distal saccular lobe; more sclerotized, narrower distal part of valva; short ventral extension and two small, but strong spines at apex; the shape of aedeagus and vesica are also different. The species has been described from a single male from North Vietnam ( Kononenko & Ronkay 2001). Our data significantly extend its known distribution. The female genitalia are described below.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 39–44 ). Ovipositor rather short; apophyses anteriores and posteriores equal in length; antrum medium long, flattened, with stronger medial sclerotization; ductus bursae long, narrower than in S. lichenosella , flattened, sclerotized; cervix bursae relatively short, but stronger than in S. lichenosella , heavily sclerotized, folded; corpus bursae somewhat shorter than in S. lichenosella , sacciform, membranous.

Distribution. South China (Provinces Jiangxi, Fujian, Yunnan, Aut. Reg. Guangxi, first record), North Vietnam.
