Identification. The plumage of this species is very similar to that of the other Turdus species ( Guilherme 2013) , but in this species the tail is reddish-brown, and the the naked ocular orbital ring is pale yellow-orange. The identificastion was confirmed using comparisons with photo- graphs and on the expert advice of Dr. Edson Guilherme, coordinator of the Ornithology Laboratory of Federal University of Acre.
