Type species. Anteus schuetti Michaelsen, 1895 .
Diagnosis. Setae eight per segment; intraclitellar male pores; calciferous glands three pairs in 7–9 of lamellar structure, with or without ectal membranous calciferous reservoir; testes in 10 within testis sacs; seminal vesicles one pair restricted to 11 or absent; ovaries in 13; spermathecae in testicular and or pre-testicular segments.
