Distribution

Holoarctic species ( ITIS Species 2000 2020). Widespread in Italy, but absent in Sardinia ( Ruffo and Stoch 2005).

Notes

Lives on banks, clearings, meadows, dry meadows, coppiced mixed forests, lakeshore with Phragmitetum , wetlands, riverbanks, floodplains, floodplain forests, marshy areas ( Phragmitetum , Caricetum ), orchards, parks, vineyards, damaged marshy areas, vegetable crops, permanent meadows, rural backyards, rural settlements and uncultivated areas ( Zanetti et al. 2016).
