Gagata gasawyuh Roberts & Ferraris 1998 ZBK : 325, figs. 6-7. Type locality: Tenasserim River mainstream upstream from Kita (or Htee-tah) , Myanmar. Holotype: CAS 95544 . Paratypes: AMNH 8358 (3), 13776 (1); BMNH 1992.3.10.1 (1); CAS 88614 (3), 88899 (4), 88906 (22), 95545-55 (1, 16, 6, 6, 2, 4, 6, 12, 1, 1, 2); NRM 26667 (3), 42002 (3); UMMZ 233234 (2); USNM 345150-51 (2, 5).

Distribution: Irrawaddy, Salween, and Tenasserim drainages, Myanmar. (Roberts & Ferraris, 1998).
