Gluvia kabiliana Simon 1879

Simon 1879: 131–132, figs 23–24 (as Gluvia kabiliana sp. nov.)

Type locality and specimens. Algérie: Bou-Saada.—Un seul mâle découvert par M. le Dr C. Leprieur.

Dimensions. ♂. Long. 15 mill.

Oldest Label. Eusimonia kabiliana (E. Sim) ♂ ♀, E. Simon l. d. 10.VII.1899, ♂: Bou Sauda ♀: Biskra, Algier (Kraepelin handwriting).

Additional label. Eusimonia kabiliana (Sim) . 2♀ — Algier (Biskra), Roewer revid. 1932 No. 8501 (Roewer handwriting).

Type material. None-type 1♀, 1juv. (ZMH-A0000163).

Remarks. Simon used one male specimen collected by Dr. C. Leprieur in Bou Saada for his description. The ZMH specimens are one female and one juvenile (although the label erroneously states male for the juvenile) and not part of the type series, in contrast to the designation as paratypes by Weidner (1959). We have refrained from imaging these females.

Current systematic position. Karschiidae , Eusimonia kabiliana ( Simon 1879) .
