Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan ( Ghahari et al. 2010c), Fars ( Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a; Kment & Baňař 2010), Ghazvin, Kerman, Kuhgiluyeh & Boyerahmad ( Hoberlandt & Švihla 1990a), Ilam, Kordestan ( Sakenin et al. 2010; Samin et al. 2011), Khorasan ( Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1998), Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1959), West Azarbaijan ( Sakenin et al. 2010), northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Lindberg 1938), southwest Iran (no locality cited) ( Josifov 1966), Iran (no locality cited) ( Dolling 2006).

General distribution. Mediterranean basin, Transcaucasia.

Note. Many geographic indications by Hoberlandt & Švihla (1990a) are questionable, the material being unlocated in Prague or based on female samples ( Kment & Baňař 2010).
