Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Moulet 1995; Modarres Awal 1987), East Azarbaijan ( Hoberlandt 1989; Modarres Awal 1997b), Golestan ( Hoberlandt 1989), Kermanshah ( Brown 1966), Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1955, 1989), West Azarbaijan ( Linnavuori 2007), northern Iran (no locality cited) ( Lindberg 1938).

General distribution. Ponto-Mediterranean and Central Asiatic: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan (Asian part), Macedonia, Romania, Syria.

Comments. In wheat fields ( Modarres Awal 1997b), and also on Artemisia sp. ( Asteraceae ), and Atriplex sp. ( Chenopodiaceae ) ( Linnavuori 2007).
