Type:― SOUTH AFRICA. Cape Region [Northern Cape Prov.]: outskirts of Fraseburg on the eastern side, elev. 1260 m, 10 April 1971, Coetzer 53 (holotype K-000243990! ; isotype PRE-0374272-0!) .
Distribution: ―South Africa (NC, WC): Karoo National Park (Beaufort West), Upper Karoo (Fraseburg), Gordonia.
