Type:― SOUTH AFRICA: Cape Prov. [ Western Cape Prov.]: 3321CC , Dist. Ladismith, Farm Springfontein, 11 December 1968, Tölken 1656 (holotype BOL non vidi ; probably lost ; C. Klak ( BOL) pers. comm.) ; isotype LE-00011933!) .

Salsola eragrostioides C.A.Sm. , in schedis (W.F. Barker 9942 NBG-81685!).

Distribution: ―South Africa (WC): Western Little Karoo.
