Holotype: MHNLS 13355 .

Type locality: “ Cerro El Humo, Península de Paria , Estado Sucre, Venezuela. (10°42’N- 62°37’W), 750 m snm.”

Distribution: Region 2. Endemic on the Península de Paria, Sucre State.
