DISTRIBUTION IN NEW CALEDONIA. — No precise localities.
OTHER RECORDS. — Central Pacific.
HOST- PLANTS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Araucaria columnaris ( Cohic 1956, 1958a), Araucaria spp. ( Brun & Chazeau 1986).
NOTE. — According to association of this genus with conifers ( Williams & Watson 1988a), especially with Araucaria spp., we consider that this species should be regarded as autochtonous in New Caledonia rather than an introduction as stated by Cohic (1958a).
