Length 6 1/2 lines.-Black; the head longitudinally striated; the thorax with circular striae in front, on the disk it is longitudinal and oblique on the sides, curving upwards to the lateral margins of the truncation of the metathorax; the truncation oblique and transversely striated; the interstices of the striae roughened, particularly on the head and thorax anteriorly; the antennae reaching to the apical margin of the first segment of the abdomen. Abdomen oblong-ovate; the peduncle compressed, rounded in front, and armed above on the verge of the truncation with two acute spines pointing backwards; beneath, furnished with an acute spine in the middle; the truncation transversely striated; the apical margin of the first segment constricted, those of the following segments and the apex obscurely ferruginous.
