Type Locality: Indonesia, Aru Isls.

Vernacular Names: Dusky Pademelon.

Synonyms: Thylogale gracilis Miklouho-Maclay 1884 ; Thylogale jukesii (Miklouho-Maclay 1884) .

Distribution: Southern New Guinea (Trans-Fly Plains and Port Moresby district); Aru Isls; Palau (= Isl) Kei Besar.

Conservation: IUCN – Vulnerable.

Discussion: T. bruijni is a later spelling ( Haltenorth, 1958:38).
