Previous records from Egypt. Kerdasa (Giza) (30°01'56"N, 31°06'32"E) ( Temerak et al. 1984).

Distribution. Afrotropical, Australian and Palaearctic.

Host records. In Egypt, it has been reported as a solitary hyperparasitoid of Sesamia cretica Lederer ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ), a phytophagous pest attacking several crops such as sugar cane, sorghum and maize ( Temerak 1983).
