Distribution: India, Afghanistan, Canary Islands, Crete, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kirgizstan, Morocco, Nepal, Portugal, Russia, Sardinia, Spain, Switzerland.
Host: Larvae feed on Phagnalon saxatile , Solidago virgaurea , Aster linosyris , and Anaphalis margaritacea (Asteraceae) .
