Neolebouria confusa ( Overstreet, 1969) Cribb, 2005 View in CoL

Synonyms: Hamacreadium confusum Overstreet, 1969 .

Records. From the yellowtail snapper, Ocyurus chrysurus (Lutjanidae) , off Florida and off Puerto Rico by Overstreet (1969) as H. confusum . From O. chrysurus off Jamaica by Nahhas & Carlson (1994) as H. confusum .

Remarks. Bray & Cribb (1989) suggested that this species belongs in Neolebouria because the excretory vesicle reaches only to the ovary; Cribb (2005a) formally transferred it and Dronen et al. (2014) recently included it in their keys to the species of that genus. It belongs to the “maorum” body-type category of Dronen et al. (2014), species of which differ from others of Neolebouria in that the genital pore is post-bifurcal.
