The male holotype from Brazil, Espírito Santo, Linhares (CHSV) is illustrated for the first time.

Specimens examined. BRAZIL, Espírito Santo: Colatina, female, III.1972 (F. M. Oliveira) (MNRJ). Linhares, male, female, XII.1965 (A. Maller) (MNRJ). Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (Corcovado), male, female, XI.1972 (C. A. C. Seabra & M. Alvarenga) (MNRJ).

Geographical distribution – Brazil (Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais to São Paulo).
