Vernacular Names: Coastal Black-handed Titi.
Synonyms: Callicebus (Callicebus) canescens (Kuhl 1820) ; Callicebus (Callicebus) gigot Spix 1823 .
Distribution: E Brazil, between Rio Mucuri and Rio Itapicuru.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Vulnerable.
Discussion: Subgenus Callicebus . C. personatus species group. Regarded as full species, separate from C. personatus , by Kobayashi and Langguth (1999).
