Holotype: 1 ♂. MEXICO: Puebla / 17 August 1994 / B.Kondratieff, R. Baumann / Pahuatlan // [on white with red border; hw label] Tibicen bimaculatus / Sanborn Holotype // [upside down barcode label] FSCA 00070566 .

Conservation status: Good condition; pinned ( Fig. 19 ).

Additional notes: Originally described as Cicada bimaculatus Sanborn, 2010 , and subsequently given the new combination Diceroprocta ( Sanborn, 2010) by Hill et al. 2015.
