Lysiteles huyilinae Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 63– 64 View Figure 63 View Figure 64 , 69E–F View Figure 69 )

Etymology. The species is named after Ms. Yilin Hu; noun (name) in genitive case.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to L. arcuatus Tang, Yin, Peng, Ubick & Griswold, 2008 and L. dianicus Song & Zhao, 1994 (see Tang et al., 2008) by the stick-shaped distal part of the retrolateral tibial apophysis and anticlockwise curved embolus, and the female shares long, curved copulatory ducts and oval spermathecae. However, the new species can be distinguished from L. dianicus by the cybium lacking a terminal apophysis (vs. apophysis present in L. dianicus ) and the embolic base with an apophysis (vs. absent in L. dianicus ). The female can be distinguished from L. arcuatus and L. dianicus by having the atrium longer than wide (vs. wider than long in L. dianicus ) and the copulatory ducts with two turns (vs. lacking turns in L. arcuatus and one turn in L. dianicus ).

Description. Male (holotype). Total length 3.03; carapace 1.49 long, 1.32 wide, opisthosoma 1.54 long, 1.11 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.13, PME 0.06, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.14, AME–ALE 0.15, PME–PME 0.19, PME–PLE 0.28, AME–PME 0.15, ALE–PLE 0.25. Chelicerae with two promarginal and one retromarginal teeth. Leg measurements: I 5.82 (1.70, 2.10, 1.25, 0.77), II 6.06 (1.76, 2.20, 1.32, 0.78), III 3.57 (1.22, 1.22, 0.66, 0.47), IV 3.69 (1.25, 1.29, 0.67, 0.48).

Coloration ( Fig. 69E View Figure 69 ). Carapace yellow, two brown lines across carapace, with sparse, long black setae. Chelicera dark brown. Endites and labium brown, sternum yellow. Legs paler yellow to yellow-brown, covered with black setae. Opisthosoma pentagonal, paler yellow with symmetrical irregular black pattern, covered with sparse, long black setae, ventrum yellow.

Palp ( Fig. 63 View Figure 63 ). Patella almost as long as tibia. Tibia with one dorsal macroseta. Ventral tibial apophysis club shaped, terminus expanded, almost straight. Retrolateral tibial apophysis almost two times longer than ventral tibial apophysis, terminus bifurcated. Dorsal tibial apophysis absent. Tegulum flat, disk shaped. Conductor lamellate. Embolus spiraled, thin, base arising at clock 11:00 position, ratio of length of embolus to length of embolus base 6: 1.

Female (IZCAS-Ar44012). Total length 3.66; carapace 1.38 long, 1.25 wide, opisthosoma 2.28 long, 2.06 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.08, ALE 0.13, PME 0.04, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.15, AME–ALE 0.15, PME–PME 0.23, PME–PLE 0.30, AME–PME 0.17, ALE–PLE 0.25. Chelicerae as in male. Leg measurements: I 4.42 (1.38, 1.59, 0.86, 0.59), II 4.58 (1.48, 1.58, 0.84, 0.68), III 3.06 (1.05, 1.06, 0.52, 0.43), IV 3.29 (1.12, 1.16, 0.60, 0.41).

Coloration ( Fig. 69F View Figure 69 ). Similar to that of male except paler.

Epigyne ( Fig. 64 View Figure 64 ). Epigynal plate longer than wide. Atrium wide. Copulatory opening large, almost 0.5 of epigyne length. Copulatory ducts long, with four turns. Spermathecae oval, two times longer than fertilization ducts. Fertilization ducts directed toward clock 3:00 position from spermathecae.

Material examined. Holotype ♂ (IZCAS-Ar43999), Vietnam: Vinh Phuc, Tam Dao National Park, Natural Forest , 20 May 2005, Dinh-Sac Pham leg. Paratypes. 9♂ 4♀ (IZCAS-Ar44000–Ar44012), same data as holotype .
