Artbeschreibung: Stängel 10-30 cm, schlaff, meist flutend. Blätter dunkelgrün, 0,5-3 cm lang. Reife Samen stark glänzend, rotbraun, glatt, am Kiel höchstens schwach gekerbt, mit netziger Struktur (Mikroskop!), Durchmesser 1-1,6 mm.
Verbreitung global: Eurosibirisch-nordamerikanisch und antarktisch
