HOLOTYPE: AMNH 229333 View Materials , adult male, collected at Chugur , 9000 ft, 06.40S, 78.45W ( Stephens and Traylor, 1983), Cajamarca, Peru, on 20 April 1926, by Harry Watkins (no. 10294). GoogleMaps

COMMENTS: Chapman cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description and examined six specimens from Chugur and two from Taulis. I found only five specimens from Chugur in either the catalog or the collection. The following are paratypes of chugurensis: Chugur, AMNH 236143–236146 View Materials , two males and two females, collected 12–23 April 1926 ; Taulis, AMNH 236147 View Materials , 236148 View Materials , one male, one sex?, collected 11 and 17 June 1926 .
