Current name: Klasea flavescens (L.) Holub subsp. cichoracea (L.) Greuter & Wagenitz View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Jarvis (in Museol. Sci. 9: 167-168, f. 3, 4. 1983) reproduced an illustration by Tilli that, while omitted from the protologue, was cited in synonymy by Linnaeus in 1763.
