This species is widely distributed from the Côte d’Ivoire ( Ragge 1968), Guinea, and Congo to Angola ( Beier 1962).

Material examined. — Angola: Bihé, leg. Capello e Ivens— 1 female (holotype of Pseudophyllus amplipennis Bolivar ) ( MNCN); Congo: 1 female, 1 male (syntypes) ( BMNH).
