Distribution. FRENCH GUIANA and BRAZIL (Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul). Here we recorded it for the RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça.
Material examined. BRAZIL, Minas Gerais, Catas Altas , RPPN Sanctuary of Caraça, trilha Tanque Grande , 20°6’5.58”S 43°29’32.34”W, 1201 m, male, light trap, 20.xi.2022, Monné, M.L. leg. ( MNRJ-ENT7-47242 ) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. This species is recognized by the following combination of characters: eyes with lower lobes distinctly shorter than gena; antennal tubercles (male) armed at apex with short, blunt horn; antennomere III (male) distinctly swollen, strongly clavate ( Nearns & Tavakilian 2012).
