Distribution and habitat. Widespread in Europe ( Schmelz & Collado 2010); South America ( Bolivia) ( Martínez-Ansemil & Giani 1986); Russia ( Degtyarev et al. 2022, 2023). Common and widespread in neutral to slightly acidic soil, often abundant in litter layer ( Schmelz & Collado 2010), also found in freshwater sediment samples ( Martínez-Ansemil & Giani 1986).
Distribution in China. Xizang Autonomous Region ( Lu et al. 2018). Only juvenile specimens were found in this area.
New records. Qinghai Province, the litter layer of the pine trees in Xining Botanic Park , 36°37′28.41’N, 101°44′17.15’E, 2390 m asl, leg. Y. Ge and Y. Liu, 05. 2019. Both juvenile and adult specimens were found in this area.
