Discussion: Included in noctula by Corbet (1978 c) and Corbet and Hill (1992), but see Tate (1942 a), Yoshiyuki (1989), Zhang (1990), and Lin et al. (2002 b). This name is sometimes misspelled plancei, but the correct spelling is plancyi after M. V. Collin Plancy.
