6. Galactia dimorpha Burkart (1971: 766) View in CoL . Type: — BRAZIL. Minas Gerais: Saint-Hilaire 661 (holotype P!). ( Fig. 3B View FIGURE 3 ) .

Erect shrub, up to 1.5 m tall; leaves pinnately trifoliolate, petiole absent; inflorescences lax and relatively large (13.5–35 cm long).

Selected specimen: — BRAZIL, Goiás: Rio Verde , 17°53'S, 50°58'W, 10 January 2009, G. B. Ceolin 165 (ICN) GoogleMaps .

Distribution: — Bolivia and Brazil (GO, MG, MS, MT).

Habitat and ecology:—Cerrado biome, growing in grassland, at elevations of 700–900 m, in clay and sandy soils, on plains and hillsides.

Phenology:— Flowering and fruiting from August to May.
