Samples from Sceliphron fuscum nests examined: MAHÉ: Anse Petite Marie- Louise, 4.7870°S, 55.5272°E, palm-cinnamon forest, under rocky shelter, 25–27.ii.2016, 3 specimens dead at the pupal stage, Bolotov leg. GoogleMaps ; PRASLIN: Anse Possession , 4.3116°S, 55.7245°E, beach crest, 22.ii.2016, 3 specimens reared from preimaginal stages, Bolotov leg. GoogleMaps

Additional samples examined: MAHÉ: Anse Forbans , 4.7816°S, 55.5228°E, garden, 13.i.2020, 2 specimens, Bolotov leg. GoogleMaps

Distribution: Widespread throughout Southern Palearctic, Ethiopian, Oriental, and Australian regions (Madl 2013a). In Seychelles, it is known to occur on Mahé, Praslin, and Silhouette (Gerlach & Madl 2003; Madl 2013a; this study).

Comments: This wasp is an introduced species in Seychelles (Madl 2013a). The first occurrence of this species was made on Silhouette in 2003 (Gerlach & Madl 2003). Later, it was collected from Mahé in 2004 (Beau Vallon) and 2011 (Anse aux Pins) (Madl 2013a). Here, we present the first record of Chrysis lincea from Praslin, and confirm the hypothesis of Gerlach & Madl (2003) that in Seychelles Sceliphron fuscum is a host of this cuckoo wasp species.
