Remarks. The Iranian population of P. sensillatus closely corresponds to the original description (Anderson & Townshend 1985). It is characterized by having a rounded lip region with three annuli, lateral fields with four lines, the central zone with one or two longitudinal lines or oblique striations, a non–functional spermatheca, and subcylindrical tail with rounded smooth terminus.
