Staudinger, 1888: 49 ( Leucanitis Aberrans ). Type locality: “aus dem Kuldja-Gebiet” (by original description); “Kuldja” (by the lectotype designation, designated here).

Habitat ( Figs. 298, 300, 302, 303 View FIGURES 297–304 ). Dry lowlands, deserts and semideserts. Elevation: 200–1300 m.

Distribution. Deserts and semideserts of Central Asia: South and Central Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, North-West China and Southern and Central Mongolia. Local.
