Remarks.

Alycaeus paviei Bavay & Dautzenberg, 1912, Alycaeus paviei var. minor Bavay & Dautzenberg, 1912, Chamalycaeus (Dicharax) compressicosta Zilch, 1957, Chamalycaeus (Dicharax) fractus Varga, 1974 and Alycaeus zhuangiyucuii Yang, Fan, Qiao & He, 2012 are synonyms of Metalycaeus heudei (see Páll-Gergely et al. 2017).

Protoconch elevated, spirally striated, R1 regularly ribbed, area between ribs with very fine spiral structure; R2 with sharp, widely spaced ribs.
