Synonyms in the area: Sertularella sanmatiasensis— Galea et al. 2009b p. 12–13 [polyp]. Distribution in South America: polyp—Pacific Ocean, Chile, at 29.22°S 71.55°W, at 29.25°S 71.52°W and at 43.39°S 74.13°W in west of Punta Inio at Chiloé Island (Galea et al. 2009b p. 12–13; Galea & Schories 2012a p. 42–44).
Habitat: polyp—from 15 to 20m depth, on Sertularella sp. and sponges (Galea & Schories 2012a p. 42–44).
