Betasyringophiloidus Skoracki, 2011: 86 .
Type species: Betasyringophiloidus phoenicurus Skoracki, 2011 , by original designation.
Mites of this genus occupy quills of secondaries and coverts and are associated with passeriform birds of the families Emberizidae , Motacillidae , Muscicapidae and Parulidae .
This genus includes five species, one of them is recorded in the Nearctic region, B. seiuri ( Clark, 1964) comb. nov.
