The two specimens placed under this name in the MHNG collection were collected in 1922 and are therefore not part of the type series. There is a specimen from Panama with the Brunner collection number 11765 in the NHMW collection which is probably a syntype but this specimen is not labelled as such and is currently placed under Anaxipha angusticollis Saussure.
