Taxonomic history. No taxonomic changes after the original description.

Current taxonomy. Charops luteipes Walker, 1874 ( Ichneumonidae : Campopleginae ).

Condition. Lost.

Remarks. According to Morley (1913b) and Townes et al. (1965), the type of this species is lost. We have searched through the entire NHMUK type and general collection for the holotype female of this species, but we could not find it either. Walker’s original description of this species is insufficient to identify the species, therefore it remains uninterpreted.
