Conognatha rogersii Saunders, 1872:250 . [ Figure 36A & 36B ]

Lectotype: “ Holo-type // Braz Bay // Rogerii ES Type. // Saunders 74·18. // NHMUK 011520894 // Conognatha rogersii Saunders, 1872 LECTOTYPE det. Pineda & Matsumoto, 2020”. Lectotype here designated .

Current status: Conognatha (Pithiscus) rogersii Saunders, 1872 ( Moore & Lander, 2010).

Comments: Saunders (1872:250), in his original description, named the species “ rogersii ”, but the label on the syntype reads “ rogerii”, probably in Saunders’ hand. The published text being decisive, the correct name is “ rogersii ”.
