Female: Body length: 1.7 mm.

Colour Female: head dark brown to black, palpi yellow, flagellum dark brown with white annulus at the apex, scape yellow; mesosoma dark brown to black; metasoma brown in all terga, except tergum II pale yellow; wing veins light brown, stigma dark brown; legs with coxae pale yellow, femur brown and pale yellow at the base (mid and hind legs darker then fore leg).

Head: vertex, frons and face smooth; malar space equal to ¼ eye height; temple narrow, width shorter than ½ eye width; ocell-ocular distance 2.5 times greater than diameter of lateral ocellus.

Mesosoma: mesopleuron smooth, precoxal sulcus smooth, shorter than width of mesopleuron ; lobes of mesoscutum smooth and hairy just along notauli; notauli weakly scrobiculate at the beginning and smooth posteriorly, meeting prescutellar furrow in triangular not sculptured area; prescutellar furrow with one cross carina; scutellum smooth; propodeum with basal median areas distinct and margined, basal median areas smooth, basal median carina present and long, areolar margin distinct, areolar area smooth-rugose, lateral areas entirely smooth, mesosternum smooth. Fore wing: vein r shorter than vein 3 RSa, vein 1cu-a interstitial with vein 1M, stigma wider than length of vein r. Hind wing: vein SC+R absent, length of vein M+CU shorter than vein 1M.

Metasoma: first tergum smooth, apical width shorter than length; second tergum smooth, apical width three times length; third tergum smooth; terga II+III with anterior and posterior transverse grooves absent; terga IV–VII smooth; ovipositor equal to 3/4 length of metasoma.

Material examined. Holotype ( DCBU 31295 View Materials ); female, Brazil, SP, São Luiz do Paraitinga, Núcleo Santa Virgínia 23o19’27,1’’S 45o5’38,4’’W, semidecidous mesophilic forest, 22.I.2010, Malaise trap; N.W. Perioto col. Comments. This species is distinguished by the absence of vein SC+R, the colour of the legs and the absence of sculpture in the body, characterizing the condition “smooth”. GoogleMaps
