Synonymization of D. lamillai with Z. brevicaudata

Morphological and molecular comparisons between Z. brevicaudata and D. lamillai demonstrate that they are conspecific. Following the Principle of Priority of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (Art. 23, ICZN 1999), D. lamillai is placed as a junior synonym of Z. brevicaudata . Accordingly, an updated synonymy of Z. brevicaudata is presented as follows:
