Dorsal shields covered by dotted ornamentation, distinctly separated from each other. Setae se and si located off propodonotal shield. Hysteronotal shield bearing only setae c1. Setae c3, ps3, ps2, and h3 short filiform. Venter. Coxal fields II with weakly developed external folds. Legs. Legs I–III as in female. Legs IV 2-segmented, proximal segment (? tibia) without setae.
Type material examined. One female, 2 male, 1 tritonymph, and 1 protonymph paratypes ( IRSNB) from Petaurus breviceps (T 663 ZMH), AUSTRALIA: other data unknown, 29 November 1913. Holotype deposition. Holotype male (not examined) is deposited in ZMH. Host range and distribution. This species is known only from the type host, Petaurus breviceps from an unknown locality in Australia ( Fain & Lukoschus 1979).
