Type. Bangladesh (Benguey). Holotype male ( MCSN).

Diagnosis. Length: 3.0– 4.3 mm. Width: 1.5–2.0 mm. Derm piceous; rostrum broad at base; antennae with club as long as the funiculus; pronotal disc scale pattern with aeneous scales laterally and along base, fuscopiceous medially; elytra with broad median vitta of aeneous scales on intervals 1 and 2, broad median fascia of aeneous scales, apex with broad fascia of aeneous scales with fuscopiceous scales between; metafemur with small tooth; sternum with clavate white scales. Genitalia: spermatheca: ramus short, oblique, truncate apex; collum broadly rounded apex, evenly tumid to cornu; cornu rather broad to broadly rounded apex (Fig. 26).

Distribution. Bangladesh; China: Yunnan Province, Xishuanbanna; Vietnam, Thai-Nguen.

Remarks. This taxon fits its specific name by being regal in its scale pattern and stands alone among the members of this group due to the female antennal club being longer than the funiculus. The findings in China and Vietnam represent new range extensions.
