Distribution

West Palearctic species, reaching Caucasus and Middle Asia ( Hůrka 1996). It can be found in mainland Italy and Sicily; doubtfully present in Sardinia ( Vigna Taglianti 2005).

Notes

Macropterous. Lives in very dry to moderately dry, unshaded habitats: steppe, fields and quarries; from lowlands to foothills ( Hůrka 1996).
