Distribution
Holoarctic species ( Isaia et al. 2007). It is distributed from Europe to China, Japan and Korea. Introduced to North America, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Bermuda ( World Spider Catalog 2020). It can be found in mainland Italy, Sardinia and Sicily.
Notes
It lives under stones and detritus and amongst moss in a variety of damp habitats ( Roberts 1995).
