Chrysophanus boldenarum caerulea is currently regarded as a valid subspecies of Lycaena boldenarum White, 1862 ( Dugdale, 1988) View in CoL . Lycaena damon var. caerulea View in CoL was transferred to Plebejus Kluk, 1780 View in CoL by Kirby (1877) and is currently regarded as a valid species of Polyommatus Latreille, 1804 View in CoL ( Hesselbarth et al., 1995).
