Aristolochia roxburghiana Klotzsch, Monatsber. Königl. Preuss. Akad. Wiss. Berlin 1859: 596 View in CoL (1859). – Type: Bengala inferior, N. Wallich s.n. [ EIC 2704 A] (lectotype K-W [ K001116840 ], designated here).
Klotzsch’s Aristolochia roxburghiana View in CoL was based partly on Aristolochia indica sensu Roxburgh View in CoL , but he also cited other elements. A lectotype for Klotzsch’s name is here selected from the most specific of the gatherings cited in the protologue.
