Rubus paniculatus Roxb., Fl. Ind. View in CoL 2: 518 (1832), nom. illegit., non R. paniculatus Sm. (1815) View in CoL . – Rubus roxburghianus Wall. ex Steud., Nomencl. Bot. View in CoL , ed. 2, 2: 479 (1841). – Type: W. Roxburgh s.n. [EIC 732B] (lectotype K-W [K001111736], designated here).

Steudel validated a replacement name for Roxburgh’s later homonym Rubus paniculatus View in CoL . A Roxburgh specimen in K-W is here selected as lectotype for the name, which is a synonym of Rubus View in CoL fraxinifolus Poir.

Rumex nepalensis Spreng., Syst. Veg. View in CoL 2: 159 (1825). – Rumex roxburghianus Willd. View in CoL in Schult. & Schult. f., Syst. Veg., ed. 15 bis, 7(2): 1402 (1830), nom. illegit., superfl. – Type: India, W. Roxburgh s.n. (holotype B-W [B - W 07044 -01 0]).

Rumex nepalensis Spreng. View in CoL and R. roxburghianus Willd. View in CoL were based on the same specimen in B-W. Willdenow’s name, having been published later, hence becomes superfluous.
