Lectotypus (designated here): AUSTRALIA. Queensland: Nouvelle-Hollande SW, L. Ventenat s.n. ( G [ G00096594 ]!).

Notes. – Two gatherings are present in Ventenat’s herbarium. The collection from Queensland [Nouvelle-Hollande du Sud-Ouest] and a cultivated specimen from Malmaison [ G00096595 ].
