Range.
Mexico to northwestern South America. Introduced and cultivated in India and Pakistan. Introduced into Myanmar.
Uses.
Leaf: Used as an abortive and as a digestive.
Note.
In India the bark is used in a decoction as an enema ( Jain and DeFilipps 1991).
